Terms of Service

Hair


Please arrive at your appointment with your hair styled as you normally wear it. Its important that I see how it falls and moves.


Clothing


Please be thoughtful about what you wear to your appointment. Don't wear your favorite shirt or anything with a collar or hood. Please refrain from wearing perfume or strong scents or smoking before your appointment.


New Clients


For new clients, a consultation and credit card are required to book an appointment and confirm your time. A deposit  for some services may also be required. The deposit is non- refundable but will be a credit toward the appointment booked and fulfilled. 


Visitors


The number of people in the salon is limited. If you need/want to bring a friend or family member,  please check in with a text confirm that is ok.


Illness


If you've recently had a cold, the flu, covid or a fever, please reschedule or wear a mask if you're feeling better. I always have masks available and am happy to wear one as well. We live in a changed world. Comfort and safety are important. I am vaccinated and boosted.


Refunds


In the unlikely event you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your service, and are unwilling to allow canvas to fix the problem, there will be no refund of the completed service. There are no refunds on product purchases.


Enforced Policies


Time is valuable at Canvas, yours and mine. 24 hour notice of desired changes to your appointment is required. If you have to cancel an appointment less than 24 hours before it is scheduled, you will be charged 50% of the appointment booked.

If you miss an appointment entirely, or no-show, without contacting your stylist, 100% of the appointment time booked will be charged. A deposit will be required to re-book your appointment, which will be applied to the completed appointment. 

Please arrive on time for your appointment. I offer a 15 minute grace period if you are running late. If you will be more than 15 minutes late, please call or text to confirm your time is still available. If the time no longer works, 50% of the appointment booked will be charged.
